Golf Wraps Up CBC Spring Invitational

Cabot, Ark.- CRC Golf played their final eighteen holes in the CBC Spring Invitational at Cypress Creek Golf Club where they finished in eleventh place as a squad, shooting a combined +207 over par after fifty-four holes of golf. 

Senior leader and co-captain of the team Isaac Langley made his return after absence due to sickness on yesterday's opening day and led the team by shooting +4 over par in the final 18 holes. Creston Sweet ended the invitational on a downward note by shooting +11 over par in his last eighteen, his highest score of the invitational. These additional strokes in today's match gave Sweet a total score of +25 over par for the two-day event, dropping him down eight positions overall, and landing him 36th overall.  Walker Hibbs flipped-flopped Sweet as the sophomore produced his best score of the three rounds as Hibbs shot +19 over par in today's eighteen. Hibbs' total score placed him up one position to 64th overall with a combined score of +64 over par. Matt Crabtree chose the middle ground in today's round as the senior shot in between yesterday's two rounds with a score of +33 over par. This gave Crabtree a total score of +98 over par and bumped the senior up one position to 65th overall. 

Women's Division:

Maddie Minyard picked up ten extra swings in today's eighteen compared to yesterday's effort. The Sophomore ended with a combined score of +56 over par in the 36-hole event, finishing tied for 30th individually. Shelby Razer slowly improved her day one score by losing three hacks in round two. Razer finished in 36th place with a combined score of +109 over par.
