The 14-3 (17-4 overall)  Mission University Patriots claimed this afternoon's conference matchup, dropping the Pioneers to 2-15 in AMC play and 8-15 on the season.

Springfield, MO- The Patriots of MU picked up conference win number fourteen defeating  the Pioneers at home in the W.E. Dowell Fieldhouse this afternoon. CRC bested the Patriots in quarter 2  of the matchup, scraping out a 4-point advantage but with Mission University coming out ahead in the opening 10 minutes with a 12-point gap, the Pioneers trailed at the break, 41-33. In the third, the Pioneers mustered their best run of the contest, bucketing 22, but woefully CRC would still face a gap increase with Mission bucketing 26. Trailing and heading into the final quarter, Crowley's Ridge hung with Mission University finishing the 4th quarter one point short of their opponent but unable to chip away at the Patriot lead. Brooklyn Kearbey led the offense with 18 points. Ansley Dawson added 15, and Travia Woodruff scored 14 in the loss.
