Hot shooting from Stephens College helped the Stars claim this evening's American Midwest Conference matchup over the Pioneers. CRC falls to 2-11 in the AMC and 8-11 overall for the year.

Paragould, Ark.- The Stephen's College Stars claimed tonight's AMC contest with a 29-point spread credited to a game-altering 31-point second-quarter performance by the Stars. Stephens pulled away with the contest thanks to nearly 75% shooting from the floor and behind the arc in the quarter, including nailing six three balls. CRC rallied their best offensive push after the break, scoring a matchup-high 16 points while defensively holding the Stars to a game-low of just 6 points. Woefully, Stephens bounced back and responded by maintaining their advantage, outpacing the Pioneers once more in the final 10 minutes, leading them to the conference win. Ansley Dawson led the offense with 10 points in the loss.
