Women's Basketball improved to the .500 mark on the season with a non-conference home win over the Royals of Ecclesia College. CRC currently sits 8-8 on the year.

Paragould, Ark.- The Lady Pioneers picked up their second consecutive victory with a hefty 29-point win over the Royals of Ecclesia College. CRC took a 15-point lead into the break which they doubled in the second half, due to their dominant defensive blockade. For the second contest in a row, the Pioneer defense held their opponents to single-digit scoring efforts in two-quarters of the matchup with the Pioneers boycotting Ecclesia's offense, limiting the Royals to 9 points in the second quarter and just 6 points in the fourth quarter. Crolwey's Ridge was deadly from the charity stripe this evening, shooting 82.1 % (23-28). Two Pioneers posted double-digit stats with sophomore Ansley Dawson reaching double-digits offensively, leading the team with 18 points, and senior leader Travia Woodruff leading the defense with 10 rebounds and 6 steals in the win.
