Pioneers Snap Losing Streak With Conference Road Win- Wil Teague, Sports Information Director, 1/18/25
The Lady Pioneers snapped a four-game losing streak this afternoon as they defeated Hannibal-LaGrange University on the road. CRC improves to 7-8 on the season and improves to 2-8 in the AMC.

Hannibal, MO- Women's Basketball picked up a much-anticipated win this afternoon with a big American Midwest Conference win over HLGU. The Lady Pioneers bounced back with force after their most recent conference loss to Cottey College this past Thursday, January 16th. The afternoon witnessed the Lady Pioneers sail to a 31-point win thanks to an impressive team effort on both sides of the ball. Four Pioneers reached double-digits offensively, with three Pioneers sharing the top performance spotlight. Sophomores Brooklyn Kearbey and Ansley Dawson along with freshman Kynslee Ward each buckted 13 points in the win. Sophomore Jordan Rasmussen followed these three by finishing with 10 points for the afternoon. Defensively, the Lady Pioneers held the Lady Trojans to single-digit scoring efforts in two quarters and applied fruitful ball pressure forcing 19 turnovers, while only surrendering 10 turnovers themselves.
