The Lady Pioneers snapped their three-game losing streak with a century-mark victory over the Scots of NCAA DIII Lyon College, helping CRC improve to 6-4 on the year. This afternoon's victory marks the first Lady Pioneer win against the Scots in program history.

Paragould, Ark.- In this afternoon's contest, Lyon College opened strongly with a 6-0 point run, taking advantage over CRC before the Lady Pioneers settled down and found their groove, helping Crowley's Ridge cruise to the season's biggest win. At the 6:04 mark in the first quarter, sophomore Brooklyn Kearbey nailed a 3-pointer, giving CRC a 9-8 point lead which the Pioneers never relinquished. Thanks to a combined team scoring effort, CRC scored 20 points or better in all four quarters, including capping the contest with back-to-back 29-point efforts in the third and fourth quarters. As a squad, the Pioneers were 49.4% from the floor, including shooting 42.9% from behind the arc (15-35). The Pioneer offense produced 6 double-digit performances with three new faces earning the top performer slot. Senior Ashanti Jones and freshman duo Sara McCain and Kynslee Ward all tallied a team-high 15 points for the afternoon. Joining these three would be junior Joi Montgomery who followed with 14 points and a team-best 15 rebounds and 7 assists, along with sophomores Brooklyn Kearbey who bucketed 13, and Jordan Rasmussen who finished with 11.
