Lawrence, KS- The Lady Pioneers continued to struggle on the road as CAC opponent Haskell Indian Nations University handed CRC their 7th road loss and 8th conference loss of the year with a staggering defeat of 101-58, dropping them to 9-15 overall. The Lady Pioneers competed with the Indians in quarters two and four but with the sluggish, low-scoring, and turoverfilled performances in the opening quarters of each half, the Indians easily claimed the midweek conference matchup. CRC ended with 26 turnovers and a season-low four three balls in the contest along with 19 total field goals compared to Haskell who shot 48.1 percent from the three-point line (13-27), 49.4 percent from the field (33-77), and only had 12 turnovers in the 40 minutes of play. Hunter Gibson led the Pioneers with 16 points and 3 rebounds with Reigiana Ward adding 11 points for the Pioneers in the defeat.

Up Next: CRC Women's Basketball looks to get back on track as they travel to Springdale, Ark. to take on Ecclesia College. The Lady Pioneers defeated Ecclesia earlier this season and look to double-dip with a second-season win. Tip-off is scheduled for Thursday, February 15th at 5:30 PM. #GOPIONEERS
