Point Lookout, MO- The Lady Pioneers who entered today's contest 9-13 overall and 3-6 in conference faced a harsh defeat against conference opponent the Lady Bobcats of CofO. CofO entered the contest sitting 19-6 on the season with a 5-2 record in conference play. After the forty minutes of play concluded the Lady Pioneers would have both of their records have one tally mark added to the losing side. 

In the opening quarter, CofO would create some space in the score with a 16-point lead after the Bobcats rallied off 27 points, but CRC would stay in the contest by matching the Bobcat energy with 27 points themselves in the second quarter. Ansley Dawson and Hunter Gibson got the Pioneers back on track in the second quarter as Gibson bucketed back-to-back 15-foot jumpers which Dawson followed with 3 three-pointers in just 54 seconds to make the score 26-32, lady Bobcats. The rest of CRC quickly followed suit as the Pioneers entered the break only down three points, 38-41. When play resumed, dismally for the Pioneers, they would produce their worst quarter of the season in the vital third quarter by scoring just 5 points allowing the Bobcats to pull away. Crowley's Ridge followed their third quarter act by only adding 9 more points to their side of the scoreboard in the final quarter as CofO soundly defeated CRC, 93-52. Ansley Dawson led the Pioneers in the loss with 20 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals.
