Women's Basketball headed out yesterday to travel to Muskogee, OK to start their busy basketball week with their first matchup against Bacone College. CRC would take a demanding lead in the first quarter but allow the Warriors to climb back in the game before the break. A strong second-half finish launched the Pioneers over the Warriors to claim their 15th win of the season. This win secures back-to-back winning seasons under head coach Brad Phillips and ties CRC single season wins records set by Phillips in the 2021 season.
Muskogee, OK- The Lady Pioneers busted out to a demanding lead after one quarter of play. Alayzah Foster did what she has been doing all year and entered the game from the bench, making her presence known. This time she bucketed 12 points for the 'Neers leading them to a 21-8 lead. In quarter two the Warrior caused some chaos and chipped back at the gap making it a 40-31 CRC lead at the break. Alyzah Foster ended her half with 17 points and Hunter Gibson joined in on the fun with 13 points of her own. When play resumed, the Pioneers continued to pour on the points as Brinley Morgan made her appearance. CRC entered the last quarter up with a 14-point lead that they used to walk their way to an 81-57 point victory.

Hunter Gibson Co-Led the Pioneers with 21 points and 9 rebounds. Alayzah Foster also finished with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Brinley Morgan posted the most diverse stat line impacting the game tonight with an impressive 19 points, 8 rebounds, 7 steals, and 5 assists.
