PARAGOULD, Ark. – Sitting on the bubble fighting for one of the last two spots in the Continental Athletic Conference tournament, the Lady Pioneers picked up their fourth conference win in an 83-61 victory over Bacone (Okla.) College.

It was a slow start for Crowley's Ridge (11-13, 4-5 CAC) who trailed the visiting Warriors 18-15 after the first quarter. Lindsey Browning pushed the pace for the Lady 'Neers with eight points in the opening 10 minutes.

The CRC defense activated in the second quarter, out-rebounding Bacone (1-27, 0-9 CAC) by a 19-8 margin in the second quarter. Hitting their free throws when it counted, Crowley's Ridge took a 37-28 lead into halftime.

Browning took matters into her own hands in the third quarter, bucketing 17 of her 20 points in the quarter. The highlight came when the freshman pulled up to hit her first career 3-pointer to vault the CRC lead to 65-41 moving into the final quarter.

Bacone had a late push, scoring 20 points in the fourth quarter, but the Lady Pioneer lead was enough to get the homecoming victory 83-61.

Three Lady 'Neers ended the day with double-doubles: Browning's 27 points were coupled with her 11 rebounds. Madison Sellars scored 13 while pulling down 12 rebounds. Travia Woodruff tied her own single-game program record of 13 assists to go along with her 18 points.
