MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Crowley's Ridge Lady Pioneers were out-rebounded by 30 boards in a loss to the Florida College Lady Falcons 81-57.

The first ten minutes were the closest of the afternoon, ending with only two points separating the schools. Crowley's Ridge (1-2) was able to get 16 points thanks to Octavia Lowery's points. However, the Falcons still managed to pull ahead 18-16.

From there, the Lady Falcons (4-2) put the proverbial pedal to the metal by scoring 20+ points in the middle quarters, led by Rylee Everett's seven three-point field goals.

The final quarter had Lowery and Cunningham trying to push back for the Crowley's Ridge, but the damage was ultimately done with Florida College getting the victory 81-57.

The Lady Pioneers were out-rebounded by the Lady Eagles 61-31, with 25 of the FC reboards coming off of the offensive glass.

Crowley's Ridge was led for the third time in as many games by senior Octavia Lowery's 15+ point performance. This afternoon, she led with 23 points, followed by Cunningham's 23. Despite the rebound differential, all Lady Pioneers who recorded minutes also recorded a rebound, led by Moreisha Thompson's six.
