College President Richard Johnson and Athletic Director Paul McFadden are excited to announce the newest addition to the Pioneer coaching family. Adam Meeker has been tapped to lead the Pioneer golf team on the links.

Meeker has spent nearly the last decade working in a number of capacities for a luxury hotel and condominium brand in Colorado and Arkansas. Before his work in the hospitality management world, Meeker sailed the seas on the Carnival ship "The Dream" as the first on-board golf professional. As the ship pro, he led golf excursions to numerous prestigious courses in the Caribbean Islands and throughout Europe. While en-route, Meeker provided lessons using the latest video swing analysis techniques.

Meeker is an alumnus of the Word to the World (Colo.) College, graduating in 2000 with an associate's degree in Biblical Studies.

AD McFadden says of his new hire, "We are very excited to have Coach Meeker added to our CRC family. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our golf program. He is a great teacher of the game and look forward to the upcoming season with him leading our program."

"I believe everything we learn in life is to be used to help others. No lesson learned is ever wasted," says the new hire. "The game of golf parallels life in many ways, and because I've been around the game of golf for 30 years now I feel as though life has led me to this wonderful college and team. I am honored to be named the Head Golf Coach for CRC, and I am excited to get to be a part of these student athlete's lives for as long as possible."
