Cabot, AR- Coming off a fifth-place finish last week at the Lyon College Spring Invitational, Men's Golf entered CBC's Spring Invitational with some enthusiasm, but after a long strenuous day of 36 holes, CRC would find themselves in 11th place shooting +140 over par as a team. 

Creston Sweet claimed the number one finish for CRC thanks to his effort in the second eighteen. At the conclusion of 36 holes, the senior sat +14 over par as Sweet shaved four strokes off the second round finishing the long day by jumping ahead ten positions to sit 28th individually. For the second week in a row, Denton Reiley led the men's program after the initial eighteen holes with Reiley's +8 effort, but the freshman saw Sweet pass him as a consistent effort of +8 on the second eighteen landed Reiley +16 over par, and in 34th place overall. Sophomore Walker Hibbs ended the day in third place for CRC as the Walnut Ridge native shot a combined +45 over par in both rounds. Hibbs improved his game by shaving five swings off his second time around but currently sits in 65th place overall. Senior Matthew Crabtree had the biggest turn-around on the team as the senior brought up the caboose for the squad. Crabtree shaved thirteen big ones off his game in the second lap, finishing his day being +65 over par and in 66th place overall. 

For the women's division:

Maddie Minyard bested her day one score from last week as the sophomore shot five stokes less, ending +23 over par over par in today's round. Minyard sits 24th individually in the women's bracket. Shelby Razer followed Minyard's stoke effort by ending today being +56 over par and in 36th place overall in the CBC Invitational.
