Bio

Brady Flynn enters his second season as the assistant coach and junior varsity head coach for the Crowley’s Ridge College Pioneers. Since he arrived at CRC, Flynn has taken over the player development of All-Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) honoree forward Braxton Cousins. Cousins led the Pioneers in scoring and rebounding in the 2023-2024 season averaging 15.5 PPG & 8.0 RPG. Flynn has also played a key role in aiding CRC’s athletic department in transitioning into the American Midwest Conference (AMC) for the fall of 2024. Brady assists in all aspects of the Pioneers program, but his primary responsibilities include recruiting, player development, video coordinating, opponent scouting, and day-to-day internal operations.

Flynn was most recently on staff from 2021-2023 with Shorter University (GA) where he served as an assistant coach and junior varsity head coach. Flynn was responsible for starting the first junior varsity basketball program at Shorter in the Division II era, as well as leading the JV Hawks to a winning record in their first season. In addition, Brady served as the creative content director and was responsible for running the Shorter Men’s Basketball social media platforms.

Flynn previously spent two seasons from 2019 to 2021 at Liberty University (VA) where he worked for Liberty Women’s Basketball as a student manager. He assisted with video breakdown, scouting reports, player development, and internal operations both on and off the court. The Liberty Lady Flames posted a 39-19 combined record from 2019-2021 and were Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Co-Champions in the 2019-2020 season.

“I had the pleasure of having Brady as a part of my basketball program for the last two years, and I can attest to his solid work ethic, his involvement in our school and community, and his character. Brady’s personal characteristics may be even more impressive. He is an extremely
honest, bright, and congenial young man who has great fortitude and high ethical standards. He is hardworking, honest, and a creative thinker that is always a catalyst for positive change.”

— Carey Green - Liberty University Head Women’s Basketball Coach

Prior to Liberty, Brady spent his summers working for HoopSeen (GA) and The Hoop Group (NJ) as a skills instructor and tournament site director. He has worked camps for the University of Tennessee, University of Virginia, University of Richmond, Berry College, and Point Guard
College (PGC). When not working camps, Brady has also spent time supervising internal game operations for The Basketball Tournament (TBT) – the $1 Million Dollar Winner-Take-All Basketball Tournament on ESPN.

The Schoolcraft, MI native holds a master's degree in business administration from Shorter University and an undergraduate degree in coaching from Liberty University. Brady currently resides in Paragould, AR.
