COUSINS BREAKS SCORING RECORD IN WIN
SPRINGFIELD, MO - Braxton Cousins made the first of two free throws with 18 seconds left that sealed the win and put him as the Career Points Leader in CRC history with 1,527 points. He passes Bo Roberson in Pioneer history.
Cousins scored 16 points in the win. Lamont Jackson led the Pioneers with 25 points. Zak Brown added 13 points and Hayden Robinson finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
CRC trailed by one at halftime but held Mission to only 36.4% shooting in the second half. There were 14 lead changes in the game and the score was tied six times.
CRC improves to 15-9 overall and 9-5 in American Midwest Conference play.
