PIONEERS CUT DOWN OAKS
PARAGOULD, AR - Crowley's Ridge College extended an 11-point halftime lead to as much as 23 points in the second half on their way to an 80-62 home win.
CRC led by 13 late in the first half, but Oakland City was able to cut the lead to 36-25 at the halftime break. The Pioneers shot 54.7% for the game and forced the Oaks into 19 turnovers to grow their lead. CRC had their biggest lead with 3:46 to play in the game and finished with an 18-point home-court win on the afternoon.
Zak Brown led CRC with 21 points in the win. Timquorian Johnson came off the bench with 14 points and Braxton Cousins added 11 points for the Pioneers.
