PIONEERS FALL IN FLORIDA OPENER

PENSACOLA, FL - CRC Men's Basketball opened their 2023-24 season on the road with a matchup against Trinity Baptist College in Pensacola, FL. CRC went into the break leading the Eagles 47-38 

but soon ran into trouble in the second half as Crowley's Ridge College struggled to shoot from the floor and lost their season opener 82-73 to Trinity Baptist College.

CRC's nine-point lead at halftime couldn't hold off TBC as the Pioneers mustered a 28.9% second-half shooting while adding 14 turnovers, helping Trinity pull out the win.

Braxton Cousins led the Pioneers with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Jaylen Bozeman added 11 points on the night.
