SPRINGDALE, Ark. – Crowley's Ridge College finished a four-game set with the Ecclesia (Ark.) College Royals on Thursday afternoon with a 12-0 final score.

The Pioneers (7-11, 0-0 CAC) got their first hit in the top of the second inning when Phoenix Beal beat out a throw from the Ecclesia (11-10) third baseman. Beal would eventually reach third base but remain stranded 90 feet from home. Crowley's Ridge had a runner at third base in the second, third, and fourth innings, but was unable to wrap them around to score.

JackHenry Glasgow (0-2) held the Royals hitless through the first 4 2/3 innings, but a single was followed by an Ecclesia homer. The Royals only got hotter as the game continued, scoring three runs in the fifth inning before exploding with a seven-run sixth.

Chipper Lamb was the only Pioneer with multiple hits, collecting a single and a double. Kole Simms also recorded a two-bagger for his lone hit.
