The newly appointed head coach began his coaching career in 2011, where he served as the assistant baseball coach for Viola High School (AR) and head coach for the junior varsity team. From there, Hargrove's career led him to Dakota College, North Arkansas College, Flippin High School (AR), Arkansas State University-Mountain Home, Marked Tree High School (AR), and most recently, Missouri State University-West Plains.
Throughout his coaching career, Hargrove has earned five Arkansas High School Conference Championships and four Arkansas High School District Championships, along with being named a 2x Arkansas High School Conference Coach of the Year.
Hargrove received a Bachelor of Science in Sport Coaching and Health Education from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg in 2010 and then went on to earn his Master's Degree of Arts in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University of Irvine, California, in 2016.
"I'm honored to be here. Coach Jordan Malone built a fantastic foundation for the program, and I'll do my best to continue building it. Our goal is to see every player graduate and for us to continue to do the right thing, on the field and off." said Hargrove.
We want to welcome Coach Hargrove and his wife Amy to the Pioneer Athletic Family. Congrats and welcome aboard! #GOPIONEERS
