Volleyball Inks CRA Falcon- Wil Teague, Sports Information Director, 12/17/24

Paragould, Ark.- Pioneer Volleyball added depth to the roster with Crowley's Ridge Academy senior Ava Summitt signing with the program last Friday, December 13th. Summitt joins the team with experience in multiple positions, as head CRA coach Royce McMillon utilized her in several positions throughout her Falcon career. Summitt has been on the court since 7th grade, filling the roles of OH, MB, and even DS on the back row when needed. In her H.S. career, Summitt accumulated over 350 digs and north of 200 kills, including producing an 84% serving average with 30 aces and a 91% passer rating on defensive passing alone in her final season. For her efforts on the court, the utility player was recognized and honored as a two-time All-Conference recipient.

"Ava's high energy in practice and on the court will be missed"- commented Royce McMillon; "She was very vocal and a super encourager to the younger players this year."
