Hillcrest's Netrefa and Smith Sign with CRC Baseball- Wil Teague, Sports Information Director, 5/30/24

Strawberry, Ark.- Earlier this afternoon the Pioneer baseball depth chart deepened with the addition of Screamin' Eagle duo, Ryker Netrefa and Talmadge Smith of Hillcrest High School. The Strawberry, Arkansas natives come aboard for the Pioneers with infield and outfield experience as Netrefa played second base for the Eagles while Smith commanded the outfielders in centerfield. While at H.H.S., both players earned recognition with Netrefa earning All-Conference and the Golden Glove along with Smith racking up accolades being named (3x) All-Conference, All-Region, and (2x) All-state. Smith was also named "Best Under the Sun" in 2023 and represented Hillcrest High School by participating in the "Xtra Innings Classic" in 2023.
