Malone Instated As CRC's Head Baseball Coach- Wil Teague, Sports Information Director, 5/6/24
Join us in welcoming Tray Malone as CRC's newest Head Baseball Coach.
Paragould, Ark.- Malone is set to take over the program from his predecessor, Brenden Camp, after serving as Camp's assistant since 2015. Malone is no stranger to CRC's Baseball program as the newly named head coach played for the Pioneers from 2010-14, and also worked with the team as a student assistant from 2014-15. While at CRC, Malone set multiple records for the program, many of which he still holds to this day including most saves in a season and lowest single-season ERA at 2.19 in 2014.
Malone holds a B.S.E. in Physical Education from CRC and is married to Head Softball Coach Jordan Malone. They have one son, J.R., and are both passionate about their athletes' successes on and off the field.
I'm excited about having Coach Malone move into this role with our baseball program. He is a Pioneer and his excitement and energy will show as this program moves forward. - Athletic Director Chris Perkins
