Walnut Ridge, Arkansas- Crowley's Ridge Volleyball Head Coach Carissa Winn made the short trip down to the neighboring town of Walnut Ridge where she signed Bobcat standout, Maddie Burris back on December 21, 2023. Burris is set to be a 2024 graduate of Walnut Ridge High School where the talented athlete collected a lengthy list of accolades during her time as a Lady Bobcat. Burris helped Walnut Ridge claim a conference championship, has surpassed the 1,000 career assists milestone, and has been recognized with the "Most Assists" award at Walnut Ridge High School for the past three consecutive years, 2021, 2022, and 2023. Burris also played a key role in the team's success this past season as they closed out with a 14-2 record. The setter was honored with being named to the All-Conference, All-State, and All-State Tournament Team in her final season as a Bobcat. 

Coach Carissa Winn commented, "We are so excited to have Maddie joining us next Fall! She brings a passion for and knowledge of the game that will help her and our team succeed at the next level!"
